She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Brown Moore and Katherine Francis Haller Moore; her husband Broadus Fred Smith; her siblings, Maxene Moore Ray and William Moore; and her son-in-law Bryan Jackson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Katherine VanNus (Dan) of Jefferson and Ann Jackson of Jefferson; her sister Nancy Moore Barbee of Concord, NC; her sister-in-law Irma Moore of Frankfort, KY; her grandchildren, Dana Doss (Ryan), Caroline Mott (Thomas), Erin Farlow (Beren), Greg VanNus (Alexis), Zach Jackson and Hannah Burrow (Korey); and her great grandchildren, Vann Doss, Ava VanNus, William Jackson, Maggie Doss, Jackson Mott, Everly Jackson and Beau Farlow.
