With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Rector (Jefferson, Georgia), born in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on November 24, 2018 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Omar Karol Rector and Dola Ivey Rector. He is survived by: his wife Beth Wiley Rector of Jefferson; his child Mandy Carey; his brother Lynn Rector of Jacksonville; and his nephew Matt Rector of Washington, D. C..
