It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maurice Ford (Jefferson, Georgia), born in Gilliam, Louisiana, who passed away on April 24, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jonnie Grace Lane Garner and Alonzo Payne Garner of Atlanta; and her former husband Bynum Andrew Chandler. She is survived by: her siblings, Dorine Stevenson of Winnsboro, Betty Jo Daniel of Soddy Daisy, TN., Geneva Nalley of Lawrenceville, Peggy Oliver of Mableton and Alonzo Payne Garner, Jr. of Blue Ridge; her siblings-in-law, Doll Daniel of Mableton, Marion R. Oliver (Buddy) and Onieta Garner of Blue Ridge; her son Bynum A Chandler Jr.; and her husband Harold Ford.
