She was predeceased by: her parents, Essie Mae Reese Dixon and Howard Wendel Dixon; and her brother Larry Dixon. She is survived by: her children, Jewell Lynn Ellison Polk of Social Circle, GA, Toni Maria Ellison Smith (Pat) of Gordon, GA, Jeanie Faye Ellison Brown (Bobby) of Louisville, GA and James Howard Ellison of Macon, GA; her brother Richard Dixon (Karen) of Hephzibah, GA; and her grandchildren, Demetrius Ellison, Tyler Ellison (Tiffany), Rasheed Wicker, Yliana Ellison, Ylicia Polk, Yliyah Polk, Jerod Ellison, Christopher Ellison, Devin Ellison, Shawn Jones, Jr., Tyeshia Smith, Aniyah Smith and Patrick Smith, Jr.. She is also survived by eleven great - grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to the Jefferson County Service Center 1114 Clarks Mill Road Louisville, GA 30434.
