It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mac Snelling of Jefferson, Georgia, born in Hoschton, Georgia, who passed away on March 28, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie James Marvin Snelling and Thelma Tallula McCarty Snelling; and his sister Betty Jean Bennett. He is survived by: his wife Janice Gooch Snelling of Jefferson; his sons, James Otis Snelling (Emily) of Jefferson and John Douglas Snelling (Megan) of Jefferson; his stepdaughter Jennifer Wetherford (Randy) of Jefferson; and his grandchildren, Whit Wetherford, Jackson Snelling, John Henry Snelling and Duncan Snelling.
