Jurell is survived by: spouse Joyce Lanelda Clark Ruis of Jefferson; children, Darlene Clark (Gene) of Jefferson, Lynn Shirley (Paul) of Clarkesville, Susan Tuggle-Hansird of Jefferson, Eric Ruis of Jefferson and Chris Ruis (Cassie) of Jefferson; siblings, Johnny Ruis, Doc Ruis, Buddy Ruis, Marvin Ruis, Marie Kinzer, Prissy Burnette and Charlotte Carter; grandchildren, Lindsey Moore, Mehgan Tuggle, Alex Shirley, Evan Shirley, Madlyn Hansird, Dakota Ruis, Reese Ruis and Rylee Ruis; and great grandchildren, Skyler Grace Robinson, Ansley Moore and Hannah Moore.
