She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Clark and Lula Mae Rowland Clark; her husband Joseph Jurell "Peanut" Ruis; and her grandchild Courtney Shea Robinson. She is survived by: her children, Darlene Clark (Gene) of Jefferson, Lynn Shirley (Paul) of Clarkesville, Susan Tuggle-Hansird of Jefferson, Eric Ruis of Jefferson and Chris Ruis (Cassie) of Jefferson; her sisters, Mary Clark Strickland of Blackshear and Jeannette Clark Howard of Blackshear; her grandchildren, Lindsey Moore (Zachary), Mehgan Apineru (Adam), Alex Shirley, Evan Shirley (Alexas), Madlyn Hansird, Dakota Ruis, Reese Ruis and Rylee Ruis; her great grandchildren, Skler Grace Robinson, Hannah Moore and Ansley Moore; and her friend Louise Mayfield of Winder.
