It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jones Allen Garmon of Jefferson, Georgia, who passed away on December 28, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his stepfather Emmett Duren; his mother Cleo Dodd Duren; and his sisters, Barbara and Betty Jean Edwards. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Bagwell Garmon of Jefferson; his children, Renee Dvorak (Mike) of Hiawassee, Ricky Garmon of Suwanee, Tim Garmon (Chandra) of Jefferson, Mike Garmon (Sharon) of Jefferson and Mark Garmon (Cheryl) of Gastonia, N. C.; and his sister Beverly Scott (Jerry) of Commerce. He is also survived by Fourteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and two great great-great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.
