He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Wilhite and Mollie Nunn Wilhite; and his son James David Wilhite. He is survived by: his wife Jere Wilson Wilhite of Jefferson; his daughter Diane Owenby (Alan) of Jefferson; his grandchildren, David Minish (Samantha) of Commerce and Lisa Minish (Trish) of Commerce; his great grandchild Sawyer Minish; his sister Mary Ellen McClure of Maysville; and his siblings-in-law, Danny and Nancy Wilson of Jefferson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Mr. James C. Wilhite to the Thyatira Presbyterian Church Memorial Gardens, 573 Y.Z. Sailors Road, Jefferson, Georgia 30549.
