It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Thomason (Jefferson, Georgia), born in Lexington, Kentucky, who passed away on June 20, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Griffeth Thomason and Mary Cornell Lee Thomason; and his siblings, Arnetta, Diana and Bobby.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Legere Thomason of Jefferson; his children, Barbara Susan Mortensen (Kerry) of Jefferson, Elizabeth Ann Schotta (Steve) of Florida, Kathryn Louise Cleveland of Griffin, Janet Lee Thomason of Jacksonville, Nancy Jill Thomason Gilchrist (Rodney) of Trussville and James Frederick Thomason of St. Petersburg; and his sister Linda Covington of Georgetown. He is also survived by Twelve grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
