He was predeceased by: his parents, James Brockley Graves, Sr. and Mary Frances Fletcher Graves. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Graves (Bauer) of Jefferson; his sister Nancy Crook of Sharpsburg; his brother-in-law Jim Crook; his daughters, Jessica Turk (Graves) of Charleston and Allison Frazier (Graves) of Jefferson; his sons-in-law, Byron Turk and James "Jamie" Frazier; and his grandchildren, Alyssa Turk, Miles Turk, Tyler Frazier, Luke Frazier, Jake Frazier, Hudson Frazier, Nash Turk, Julia Turk, Edie Turk and Lila Frazier.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Athens Church (10 Huntington Road, Athens, GA 30606).
