She was predeceased by: her parent Strozier Copeland. She is survived by: her parent Laura Ellis Copeland; her husbands, Lee K. Whatley and Archie Mulkey; her sisters, Juanita Baskett and Frances Pittard; her children, Michael Whatley (Ellen) of Jefferson and Brenda Coile of Homer; and her sister Mary Helen Whatley Maddox. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and Ten great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
