She is survived by: her husband Herman Buffington; her sons, Michael Herman (Mike) and Scott Lee Buffington (Wendy) of Jefferson; her brother Thomas Taylor Toles (Tommy) of Jefferson; her grandchildren, Brittany Carmen Buffington Truelove of Jefferson, Martin Lee Buffington (Marty) of Jefferson, Blair Michael Buffington of Patchogue, N. Y. and Clark Thomas Buffington of Jefferson; her stepgrandsons, Jonathon Nix of Jefferson and Joshua Nix (Elizabeth) of Nicholson; her great grandchildren, Macy Mae of Jefferson, Max Truelove of Jefferson, Axle of Jefferson, Abel of Jefferson and Ace Buffington of Jefferson; and her caregivers, Mary Hix, Joy Underwood, Denise Stringer, Patricia Tate and Faye Swain.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Evans Funeral Home (1350 Winder Hwy, Jefferson, GA 30549). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home (1350 Winder Hwy, Jefferson, GA 30549). A burial was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at the Woodbine Cemetery (147 Athens St, Jefferson, GA 30549).
