He was predeceased by: his parents, Gus McKinley Puett and Florence Wood Puett; his wife Dorothy Blackstock Puett; his daughter Gloria Puett; his siblings, Helen Howell, Hildred Moore, Lorene Holsinger and Ward Puett; and his son-in-law George E. White III.
He is survived by: his daughters, Elwanda P. White of Lilburn and Ivelyn P. Hilliard (Jim) of Cumming; his grandchildren, Valerie White Robinette (Bobby), Alex Hilliard (Maggie) and Meghan H. Sitz (Adam); his great grandchildren, Kara Robinette, Nate Robinette, Henry Sitz and Elizabeth Sitz; and his sister Dixie Puett of Warne.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the American Legion Albert Gordon Post #56, P.O.Box 861, Jefferson, Georgia 30549.
