He is survived by: his children, Jane Chafin Gleason (Mark) of Jefferson, GA and Edgar Owen Chafin, Jr. of Loganville, GA; and his stepchildren, Joy Phillips (Don) of Powder Springs, GA, Kevin Scott (Frances) of McDonough, GA and Vicki Sparrow (Ricky) of McDonough, GA..
