He was predeceased by: his parents, John McCarty and Lexie Hollomon McCarty. He is survived by: his wife Geneva Dill McCarty; and his children, Regina Reed (Jerry), Angie Berry and Roy Amos. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
