It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Weldon of Jefferson, Georgia, born in Nicholson, Georgia, who passed away on July 26, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Earnest Wilbanks and Minnie Mae Barnett Wilbanks; her husband Herman Weldon; her siblings, Sara Nell Poe, Howard Wilbanks and William Walter Wilbanks; and her daughter-in-law Wanda Weldon.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Weldon of Nicholson, Stanley Weldon (Phyllis) of Cleveland, Ronnie Weldon (Ginger) of Jefferson and Margaret Holloway (Lloyd) of Jefferson; her siblings, Lois Mae Poe of Nicholson, David Gordon Wilbanks of Nicholson and James Alvin Wilbanks of Buford; her grandchildren, Laurel Arnold, Preston Weldon, Priscilla Norris, Lane Weldon, Eric Weldon, Khela Dean, Jordan Weldon, Kyndal Quiggle, Michelle Paul, April Beem, Amanda Wilbanks and Misty Bryant; and her great grandchildren, Lauren, Jake, Courtney, Layken, Zoe, Eleni, Emersyn, Caz, Jax, Eisley, Kynleigh, Alexandria, Hudson, Jae, Garrett, Gracie, Lincoln, Madeline, Ella and Harper.
