He was predeceased by: his parents, William Daniel and Minnie Lenora Wood; his siblings, William Daniel Wood Jr., Harold Andrew Wood, Richard Emmett Wood, Sr., Anthony Leon Wood Sr., Mary Wood Chatham and Shirley Ann Wood; his children, Charles Edward Wood, Jr. and Margie Christine Wood Armbrust; and his grandson Michael Keith Wood.
He is survived by: his wife Gretta Dianne Tallent Wood; his children, Edwin Keith Wood, Anna Wood of Jefferson, Melissa Dianne Wood of Jefferson and Joshua William Wood of Buford; his great grandchildren, Julianne, Jackson, Jace, Lane (Margie), Declan, Mead, Berrit, McKenzie, Liam (Charles), Mason, Hailey and Grant; and his siblings, Peggy Elizabeth Hinson (Billy) of Duluth, Larry Eugene Wood (Onnie) of Helen and Frank Albert Wood (Susan) of Jefferson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and cousins.
