He is survived by: his wife Betty Ann Wilbanks Buffington of Jefferson; his children, Kathy Lynn Buffington Dalton (Jeff) of Athens, Cindy Carol Waldrop (Jim) of Cumming, Georgia. and Cary Alan Buffington of Jefferson; his grandchildren, Cody Ray Dalton (Megan), Ashley Priscilla Tiv and Stephanie Tiv Sullivan (Richard); his great grandchildren, Kensley Dalton, Gage Dalton, Nori Sullivan, Aven Sullivan and Serena Sullivan; and his brother Jack Buffington of Jefferson.
