He was predeceased by: his parents, David Allen Thomas and Jessie Mae Cato; and his grandson Chase Harper. He is survived by: his wife Jody Pugh Thomas of Jefferson; his children, Gabe Thomas (Misty) of Winder and Staci Harper of Jefferson; his grandchildren, Laney Harper, Rylee Diehl, Hunter Harper, Zach Thomas and Lauren Kelly; and his brothers, Donald Thomas of South Carolina, Henry Thomas of Bethlehem and Doyle Wooten of Douglas.
