We are sad to announce that on February 29, 2020, at the age of 72, Bruce William Higbie (Jefferson, Georgia), born in Jamaica, New York passed away. He was predeceased by : his parents, Clarence "Kirby" Higbie and Virginia "Ginny" Higbie. He is survived by : his wife Carol Higbie; his siblings, Pamela "Pam" Cook (Douglas "Skip") of Blue Ridge, GA, Gary Higbie (Patricia "Perri") of Brookhaven, GA and Candace "Candy" Cooper (Joseph "Joe") of Jefferson, GA.; his children, Chris Higbie (Laura) of Clarkesville, GA, Regina Gaffney (Scott) of Buford, GA, Zachary Higbie of Cincinnati, OH and Samantha Shanku (Chris) of Kansas City, MO.; and his grandsons, Christopher, Eli (Addie Higbie), Noah and Lucas (Grace Gaffney).

In lieu of flowers, donations in his name are requested for iServe Ministries (https://www.iserveministries.org) of which Bruce was an active volunteer and financial supporter, or PanCan (https://www.pancan.org), in hopes that research funding prevents another family from going through the pain of sudden loss associated with pancreatic cancer.
