It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Heavner Starr of Jefferson, Georgia, born in Hildebran, North Carolina, who passed away on July 31, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Heavner of Washington and Hazel Kathleen Propst Heavner; and her husband Hal Eugene Starr. She is survived by: her daughters, Nita Starr (Jeff Wilmoth) and Freda Starr; her grandchildren, Danny Jackson (Janelle), Christie Jackson, Chelsea Prevatt, Rachel Bramlett (Cory), Maggie McGhee, Jessica Burgess (Matthew), Amanda Campbell (Ben) and Abby Wilmoth; and her great grandchildren, Mac Jackson, Zeke Jackson and Lydia Burgess.
