He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Dougherty and Ellen McGehee Dougherty; and his son Erik Allen Dougherty. He is survived by: his wife Terry Held Dougherty of Jefferson; his daughter Amy Morton of Gray, GA; his grandchildren, Gabriel Dougherty of Norfolk, VA, Cooper Morton of Gray, GA, Harper Morton of Gray, GA, Liam Morton of Gray, GA and Lexi Raven of Gray, GA; his siblings, Robert Dougherty (Kelly) of Cumming, GA, Roger Dougherty (Carolyn) of Sugar Hill, GA and Denise Parker of Melbourne, FL; and his mother-in-law Norma Held of Jefferson.
