She was predeceased by: her parents, William Jerome Laughlin and Edna Van Brook Laughlin; her brothers, William J. Laughlin, Jr. and Francis Xavier Laughlin; and her husband Jerome Alfred Veldhuis.

She is survived by: her children, Mark Veldhuis (Beth) of Jefferson and Ann Olson (Chuck) of Sandy Springs; and her grandchildren, Erik, William, Scott Olson, Jon Veldhuis and Allison Veldhuis Miller.
