She was predeceased by: her husband Joe Southerland; and her siblings, Clifford Harris, Charles Harris, Edward Harris, Jimmy Harris, Wanda Carzell Dyer and Brenda Harris.
She is survived by: her son Joe Preston; her daughter-in-law Phylicia Southerland of Talking Rock; her daughter Tammy Jo Southerland of Jasper; and her siblings, Lloyd Harris of Calhoun, Randall Harris of Calhoun, Don (Debra Harris), Carolyn (Travis Worley), Lois Brackett of Oakman, Janice Silvers of Calhoun, Ivajean Winkler of Calhoun and Edna Goble of Jasper. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
