He was predeceased by: his parents, William Blackwell and Callie Blackwell; and his siblings, Lila Johnson, William Blackwell Jr., Jim Blackwell and Jack Blackwell.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Blackwell; his sons, Roy Blackwell, John Blackwell (Amy) and Brandon Blackwell (Leah); his grandchildren, Jayvan, Kaleb and Denali Blackwell; and his siblings, Joe Blackwell, Jerry Blackwell, Sue Tatum, Joyce Davis and Patricia Blackwell.
