She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest Barrett; her parents, John Patterson and Lizzie Keener Patterson; and her siblings, Wilburn, Austin, Willard, Charlie Patterson, Lorene Courey, Etta Newton, Pauline Weems, Irene Barrett and Martha Patterson. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
