She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Thomas and Willie Jean Wigington; her brother Tommy "Doc" Wigington; and her niece Kelly Strubing. She is survived by: her husband H. A. Holmes of Jasper; her daughters, Sherry Lynn Davis of Jasper, Andrea Michelle Holmes (Peter) and Rita Necole Wheeling of Jasper; her grandchildren, Justin Holmes of Jasper, Jacob Davis, Emily of Jasper, Nicholas Davis of Jasper, Zachary, Kimmy Davis of Holly Springs, Devin Pinyan of Jasper, Reece Wheeling of Jasper, Cody and Alice Harkins of Kentucky; and her siblings, Terrell (Diane Wigington), Joe (Edna Wigington) and Vanessa Cooper of Jasper.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM and on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at 9:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Roper Funeral Home Chapel (206 Holly St, Jasper, GA 30143). A burial was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at the Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery (5447 Haverford Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19139).
