It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louise Collins Parris of Jasper, Georgia, born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, who passed away on June 24, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Woodson and Patsy Ellis Woodson; and her sisters, Patsy Ruth Gibson, Charlotte Logan and Sue Edwards.
She is survived by: her children, Fredrick Collins (Deana) of Jasper, Georgia, Debbie McClendon of Hixson, Tennessee, Steve Allen Collins (Debra) of Chatsworth, Georgia and Janette Collins of Hixson, Tennessee; and her siblings, Judy Bryant of Rossville, Elaine Woodson of Hixson, Tennessee and Tony Woodson. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
