He was predeceased by: his parents, William Padgett and Ora Lee Tomblin Padgett. He is survived by: his siblings, Wilma Dean Barnhill (Jim), Charles Padgett (Teresa), Larry Padgett (Janice), Jerry Padgett (Brenda) and Neal Padgett (Carla). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Cagle Funeral Home (364 E Church St, Jasper, GA 30143). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sharp Top Baptist Church (210 Grandview Rd, Jasper, GA 30143). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Sharp Top Baptist Church Cemetery (210 Grandview Rd, Jasper, GA 30143).
