He was predeceased by: his parents, James Mitchell and Madeline Estell Mauldin. He is survived by: his wife Fay Turner Mauldin of Jasper; his children, Heather (Daniel Waldrop), Diane (Nick Springer) and James Mauldin III of Westerville, Ohio; and his grandchildren, Kaylyn Waldrop, Wesley Waldrop, Abigail Springer, Claire Springer and Noelle Springer.
