He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Murphy and Ester Cook Murphy; and his siblings, Russell Murphy, Ronnie Murphy and Katherine Roggenkemp.
He is survived by: his wife Pat Murphy; and his daughters, Patty Rich (Sammy), Kim Murphy, Miki Denney (Matthew), Shannon Rampley (Mark) and Gerri Sutton (Lamar). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 11 (and one on the way) great grandchildren.
A reception was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Cagle Funeral Home (364 E Church St, Jasper, GA 30143). Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the same location.
