She was predeceased by: her parents, Will Dean and Lula Dean; her husband John D. Buckner; her son Johnny D. Buckner; her grandson Jason Alan Gramling; and her brother Herbert Dean.
She is survived by: her daughter Sharon Gramling; her siblings, Minalee Mullinax and Larry; and her sister-in-law Diane Dean. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
