He is survived by: his children, Richard Simonds of Jasper, Wanda Gay of Jasper, Johnny Simonds of Ellijay, Junior Simonds of Jasper, Roseann Simonds of Jasper, Dianne Simonds of Ellijay, Jimmy Simonds of Jasper, Patricia Medley of Marble Hill, Lamar Simonds of Jasper and Tracy Ramey of Ball Ground; and his sister Betty Raye of Canton. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
