Jeannett W. Godwin Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeannett W. Godwin of Jakin, Georgia, who passed away on November 2, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Jeannett farewell, let us not mourn the absence of their physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of their spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Jeannett is not truly gone, but merely transformed, their energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Moore's Chapel (312 Alexander Ave, Donalsonville, GA 39845). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Live Oak African Methodist Episcopal Church (402 Baldwin St, Donalsonville, GA 39845).
