He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Will Chambliss and Betty Garrison Gordon; and his siblings, Linda Banfield and Gary Chambliss. He is survived by: his children, Windy Chambliss Hancock, Brandy Chambliss Johnson of Edison, GA, Josh "Chunk" Chambliss of Colquitt, GA and Matt "Slim" Chambliss (Heather) of Doerun, GA.; his siblings, Ronnie Chambliss (Barbara) of Blakely, Sandy Fortner (Larry) of Ashford, AL, Bobby Chambliss (Darlene) of Tallahassee, FL, Jay Chambliss of Blakely, GA and Patrick Chambliss (Michelle) of Blakely, GA.; and his uncles, Frankie Chambliss and David "Bateye" Chambliss.
