He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Herrin Howell; his children, William "Dale" Howell (Rena) of St. Augustine, FL, Rhonda Geoghagan (Gary) of Jacksonville, FL, Sheila Widener (Eddie) of Jacksonville, FL and Shelly Hyers (Robert) of Hortense; his grandchildren, Tessa Geoghagan, Trace Geoghagan, Caleb Geoghagan, Barry Widener (Pam), Samantha Hobbs (James), Travis Russell, Jr. (Melissa), William Trevor Russell (Sarah), Sarah Griffis (John), Laurel Howell and Lily Howell; his brother Eddie Howell of Jacksonville; and his brother-in-law Jerry Herrin of Jacksonville. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
