He is survived by: his wife Faye Sanford Wells of Jacksonville; his children, Vickie Marie Land (Tommy) of Jacksonville and Walter Lee Wells of Milledgeville; his granddaughters, Charity Couey (Jeremy) of Jacksonville and Bethany Grace Land of Jacksonville; and his great grandchildren, Harmony Faith Couey and Trinity Hope Couey.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Blockhouse Baptist Church (426 E River Rd, Jacksonville, GA 31544). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
