It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Teretha Warren Mixon of Jacksonville, Georgia, born in Cecil, Georgia, who passed away on October 26, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Dave Warren, Sr. and Mae Presley Warren; her husband James William Mixon, Sr. (Jim); her son Wallace Forte; and her siblings, Samp, Chesley, Charles Dave, Jr., Ella Mae Bellflowers, Louelle Barfield Carter, Hazel Dumas Harper, Jean Gentry and Carolyn Smith Roark.
She is survived by: her son Gary; her daughter-in-law Adriana Forte; her stepchildren, James Mixon, Jr., Teresa Gorley and Susan Miller; her brothers-in-law, George Gentry and Everett Roark; and her caregiver Margaret Mc Queen. She is also survived by step-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
