He is survived by: his wife Dianna Penney Rei; his daughters, Lisa Rei Lockwood and Rebecca Rei Herren (Glenn); his brother James Rei (Mary) of Orlando; and his grandchildren, Victoria (Anthony), Elizabeth, Dylan, Emily and Reily.

Memorial donations may be made in Joseph Rei's name to The Salvation Army.
