It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Edwin Kirkland of Jacksonville, Georgia, who passed away on June 11, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin John Kirkland and Willie Mae Reddick Kirkland; his wife Patsy Louise S. Kirkland; his children, Daniel J. Kirkland and Melissa Alane Smith; and his siblings, Charles Franklin Kirkland, Clyde John Kirkland, Vera Lynn Bockius and Ann Dedge.
He is survived by: his daughter Heidi Anna McLoughin (Raymond) of Jacksonville, FL; his granddaughters, Patsy Denise Kirkland, Haley McLoughlin and Hannah McLoughlin; and his siblings, William Austin Kirkland of Jacksonville and Mary Kirkland of Jacksonville. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
