She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Lee and Bessie Mae Smith Vaughn; her husband Gerald Hamlin; and her siblings, Watson Vaughn, William Vaughn (Cotton), Lindsey Vaughn, Bernice Grant, Annie Ruth Vaughn and Janie Carver.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jackie Hamlin and Randy; and her great grandchildren, Joe Boswell, Katlyn Hamlin, Brittany Hamlin, Jamie, Jon Murray and Dusty.
