It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rose Blalock of Jackson, Georgia, born in Beckley, West Virginia, who passed away on December 22, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Franklin Carter, Sr. and Wanda Rose Peppers Carter; her husband Charles Blalock Sr.; and her children, Charles Blalock, Jr. and Wanda Sue Duttenhoffer.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy (Rolando Orellana), Sharon (James Doty) and Steven (Cathy Blalock); her grandchildren, Denise, Charles, Jessica, Elizabeth, Scott, Stephanie, Leigh, Travis and Nichole; and her siblings, Louise Brock, Jan Martin, Charles (Sandra Carter), James Carter and Tommy Carter. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to Shepherd Care Hospice, 1501 Kalamazoo Drive, Griffin, Georgia 30224.
