With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Eugene Yates of Jackson, Georgia, born in Hapeville, Georgia, who passed away on November 1, 2020 at the age of 54. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Yates and Frances Yates; and his sisters, Diane Yates and Janie Bates. He is survived by: his wife Tammy Lewis Yates; his children, Emily Yates, Hope Stegall, Jeffrey Smelley (Crystal) and Ashley Tingle (Kenneth); and his siblings, Curtis Yates (Ann), Teresa Yates and Douglas Yates (Tasha). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
