He was predeceased by: his parents, Simon Harold and Claudene Crocker Cottom; and his sisters, Rita Chism and Peggy Cottom. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Southwick Cottom; his children, Lucas Cottom of Watkinsville and Courtley Cottom of Hampton; his grandchildren, Logan Brown and Alexander Cottom; and his siblings, Ronald Cottom of Wataga, IL and Martha Peck of Galesburg, IL..
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hurd Hendricks Funeral Home (204 E Prospect St, Oneida, IL 61467). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
