She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Hoover and Iolet Hoover; her husband William "Bill" Matejowsky; her siblings, Violet Doran, Melvin Jr., Joe Hoover, Clara Vaughn and Irene Lyles; her granddaughter Jennifer Lynn King; and her great grandchild William Lee Pearson.
