He was predeceased by: his parents, Frary Elrod, Jr. and Doris Elrod. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Bradley Elrod of Mt. Airy; his children, Louis, Kira Weissenborn (Elrod) and Susan Elrod; his son-in-law Erik Hofmeister of Auburn; his brother John Montgomery Elrod (Ulla) of Jacksonville Beach; his niece Barbara Elrod Friedmann (Chris) of Jacksonville; his nephew Thomas Elrod (Katy) of Arlington, VA; and his great-nephews, John and Ken.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hillside Memorial Chapel (5495 GA-197, Clarkesville, GA 30523). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the St. Mark Catholic Church (5410 GA-197, Clarkesville, GA 30523). A burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at the Hillside Gardens Cemetery (5495 GA-197, Clarkesville, GA 30523).
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to the St. Mark Chapter, Knights of Columbus, 5410 Highway 197 South, Clarkesville, GA 30523 or to the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia, 46 Plaza Way, Clayton, GA 30525.
