He is survived by: his children, Shelly Toluba of Griffin, Valerie Jones of Griffin, Sonja Mangrum (Pete) of Calhoun, John Erick Darden of Jasper and Laura Adams (Paul) of Cleveland, Tennessee; the mother of his children Sandy Rogerson of Barnesville; and his siblings, Tommie Jean Myers of Wood River, David Douglas Darden of Cleveland, Donald Darden Cain of Colorado, Melba Ann Darden of Lamar County, Lou Ann Belote of Texas, Leslie Bradford of Forsyth and Brenda Williams of Butts County. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
