We are sad to announce that on September 12, 2024, at the age of 88, John Harvey Hall Sr. of Jackson, Georgia, born in Griffin, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy John Harvey leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though John Harvey may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Hall and Ester Chambers Hall; his son Mark Hall; and his siblings, Aaron Hall and Helen Maddox.
He is survived by: his wife Edith Hall; his sons, John Hall (Michelle) and Shawn Hall (Ceason); and his grandchildren, Blake Hall (Monica), Lauren Hall, Burkely Hall and Brinnly Hall. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sherrell-Westbury Funeral Home (212 E College St, Jackson, GA 30233). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Sherrell Memorial Chapel (212 E College St, Jackson, GA 30233).
