With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Ellerbee of Jackson, Georgia, born in Ashburn, Georgia, who passed away on February 4, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Monroe Tucker and Dorothy Corene Nutt Tucker; and his stepson Mitch Beddingfield. He is survived by: his children, Pamela Jean Ellerbee (Penny Schneider) and John Ellerbee, Jr.; his wife Mildred Ellerbee; his son Rodney Ellerbee (Kelli Tidmore); his stepchildren, Thomas Ryan Beddingfield (Vicki) and Angie Higgins; his daughter-in-law Wendy Beddingfield; his close friend Marion Brown; and his grandchildren, Connor, Cooper, Peyton, Zachary, Kaley Brooke, Cody, Ryan, Amber, Tye, Erin, Jordan, Katelyn and Matthew.
